Systembolaget is the Swedish state retail monopoly for drinks above 3.5% alcohol by volume, which makes it the only place in the district selling strong beer, wine and spirits to take home. The age limit is 20 and identification is asked for. The shop is at Bobergsgatan 50, open 10:00 to 19:00 Monday to Friday and 10:00 to 15:00 on Saturday. It closes on Sundays, as every Systembolaget in the country does – worth planning around before a weekend. Restaurants in the district hold their own licences, so this applies only to what you carry home.
