Harpaviljongen
Wine bar and café in the 1912 pavilion on Norra Djurgården – food and wine in the garden, a walk from the district.
About
Harpaviljongen sits on Södra Fiskartorpsvägen in Norra Djurgården, a walk west from Norra Djurgårdsstaden. The pavilion was built for the 1912 Olympic Games, where it served as a kitchen for some of the competitors and a water station for the marathon runners. A café opened here much later, and a restaurant followed in 2004. It now runs under new owners as Harpaviljongen 1912. There is seating indoors and out, and the garden is what the place is really about through the summer. The address is Södra Fiskartorpsvägen 29 and the telephone number 070-155 10 78. Hours follow the season and are published on harpaviljongen.com. Sitting a walk west into the national city park makes the pavilion an outing rather than a weekday lunch.
